Campus Coordinators Needed We're recruiting student coordinators on high school and college campuses statewide who are committed to helping elect Willie Logan as the next U.S. Senator from Florida. As a coordinator of Students for Logan on your campus, you have the opportunity to become an important contact for the Logan2000 campaign at your school. If you want to become a coordinator, click here now to let us know by completing our Volunteer form. How to Help Willie on Your CampusYou can help Willie Logan in a myriad of ways on your campus. If you want to work on campus, but not be your school's campus coordinator, click here now to let us know by completing our Volunteer form. We need volunteers who can help recruit other Students for Logan, staff phone banks, distribute Logan2000 literature, register new voters, get out the vote on election day, and more. Here are Ten Ways You Can Help Willie On Your Campus: 1. E-mail your friends and link them to or urge them to check out the Logan2000 Campaign web site at www.logan2000.org. Direct their attention to the site's Students for Logan section and its new Student Resources page, designed to provide students with extensive guidance on college and graduate school applications and admissions. 2. Volunteer or Intern at a Logan2000 Campaign Office. Contact us for the location of the Office nearest you and more information on how you can help. 3. Join the statewide network of Students for Logan by joining or starting a Students for Logan group on your campus. 4. Attend the regular meetings of student groups to distribute literature and talk to them about the Logan2000 Campaign. 5. Organize a Logan2000 House Party to raise money for the Campaign. The Campaign will send you brochures and merchandise for the Party. 6. Write letters to the editors of your school and local newspapers and call local radio talk shows to promote Willie's positions on issues or set the record straight. 7. Set up a voter registration table once a week where students can register to vote, change their addresses, and request absentee (vote-by-mail) ballots. A person must be registered at their current address 29 days before the election in order to vote on Election Day. 8. Set up a Logan2000 Campaign table once a week on campus to distribute Logan2000 Campaign information, sell LOGANgear and get more students involved in the Campaign. 9. Get out the student vote on Election Day. Organize an effort to contact students who are registered voters and remind them to vote. 10. Buy a Logan2000 bumper sticker and put in on your car or otherwise display it to show your support. |
