What Florida Voters Are Saying...

On the FNN Debate - 10/27

I watched the debate tonight & was caught off guard by your performance. I found myself so impressed by you that I had to let you know you just picked up 2 votes from my household. Good luck & keep up the fight.

Mr. Logan,

Just a word of encouragement... I watched both of your debates this past week and came away convinced that you were the best choice for Florida. Thank you for rising above the "sniping" of Mssrs. Nelson and McCollum and focusing on the issues important to all of us. I plan to do all I can this next week to spread the word amongst everyone I can to take a moment and review your candidacy. I feel strongly that by doing so, a great number of concerned Floridians will believe as I do: that you will bring a fresh voice and spirit on behalf of our state that is sorely needed in Washington.
May God Bless you and give you strength.

Willie, I saw your debate appearance.  You are the man.  I never heard of you before tonight, but I'll tell you... I wanted to vote for Nelson, but he came off like a jerk, and neither even addressed your statements... It worked to your favor.  You beat those dummies senseless, count on my vote!!!!  Thanks for keeping it real.

I caught your appearance in the 10/27 debate.  I don't like McCollum and have been lukewarm on Nelson.  Your answers really caught my attention and you have my vote.

You've got my vote, Willie. I probably wouldn't have paid you much attention, but I got so sick of the two Bills slamming each other, I took a look. Sounds like you can get the job done. Hope enough die-hard Democrats and Republicans feel the same way. Good luck on the 7th!

I have never been exposed to you before. This note is to share that I believe you provided better direct responses to all the questions asked than either of the other candidates. With the exception of the pro-life issue, we seem to agree on most issues. Keep up the good work. I trust we will see more of you in the future. May God richly bless you!!

Larry

It is such a pleasure to hear a clear voice.  You have my vote.

On the NBC Debate - 10/23

"The newsroom at the Tampa TV station that hosted the hour long debate received 'dozens' of calls from viewers wanting to get in touch with the Logan campaign, said Deb Halpern, assistant news director for WFLA.  'I don't recall anything like that happening before,' Halpern said."

Miami Herald, 10/25/00

We are a large family of educated, white middle-class professionals and are very inspired and enthused by your message. We have all vowed to vote for you because you are speaking truths that the other candidates seem to avoid for reasons that evade us. Your message is one of inclusiveness, tolerance, and common sense.  The way you express your message is refreshingly straightforward and from the heart and logic. Thank you for giving us hope that the political process can be revived if there are folks like you out there willing to represent us.

Dear Future Senator-elect:

I just finished watching the Oct. 23 debate on TV. JOB WELL DONE. I would just like to tell you, that I am a 100% service connected Gulf War Veteran, and a Republican. However, I plan to vote for you this election day. Good Luck and I look forward to working with you as our new Senator.

Go, Willie, go.

I've seen both debates.  I love what you say--we need independent representation, independent of interests, independent of parties, independent in their thinking.  My vote's with you.  You and I agree on a lot of ideas, but not on everything.  For us independent voters (independent of interests, of parties....), that's the case with every candidate. Differences are the nature of our great way of governing.  Differences are not a reason to barricade behind the party line.  But that's the only way party-dependent candidates can keep the backing of their parties.

I think people will more and more favor the independent candidates, especially as the 18-25 year olds come of age.  I'm glad you're blazing the trail.  I hope you win.  Count one more vote on election day.

Thank you, Mr. Logan.  You have my vote . . . I am absolutely honored to be able to say I am voting for you in November.  I admire your 'good fight', especially in the face of the traditionally omnipresent two-headed beast you've chosen to tame (please note a facetious temper here).  Good job tonight at the debate, by the way!  ...am dismayed that the commentator (sorry...forget his name) seemed to get in more time than you.  I agree that the forum did not seem to play out in a fair tri-section of dialogue.  Best of luck, Mr. Logan.  Please stride on along this pathway less traveled you've chosen...  I am sure I will be following your journey for years to come.

Peace and Respect,
Bill

Hi, Mr. Logan......just a note to say that, although i am a registered democrat, after watching you debate the other night on the news, there is no doubt in my mind that you will r'cve my vote.......I wish I could vote twice, b/c you would get both of them......my husband who is a registered republican is also voting for you, as well as every voting member in my immediate family......we were all extremely impressed with you.....i can't imagine why anyone would want to vote for mccollum or nelson b/c it was obvious that you were the only candidate who had sense, let alone had something to say......thank you!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK!!!!

Congratulations on a well done performance on the NBC sponsored debate. We're two liberal voters in our 20s and were absolutely thrilled with your performance. Bill Nelson has lost our two votes and your stances on the issues are quite accurate. We might be Democratic Party voters, but we're not ignorant, and your message far surpassed the corporate interests of Mr. Nelson and McCollum.

Best of luck and we're hoping to see some big votes for you on Election Day!

"Having been a participant in the debate, I can tell you that Willie Logan was impressive.  And if you had to ask me who won the debate, I would say Willie Logan...He was eloquent.  He was funny.  He was straight to the point.  He was very candid."

Hello, Mr. Logan

My name is Mike Mengel. I am a 30 year old Caucasian male.  I am a resident of Florida, currently serving in the United States Marine Corps and living in South Carolina.  I just watched the debate replay on C-SPAN (I believe the debate was last week) between yourself and the other two candidates.  I enjoyed your directness on the issues that were discussed.

I agree with your stance on campaign finance reform and "soft" money, and the way you are financing your campaign.  I am sending a donation to your campaign; yes it is small, but I hope it helps a little.  I am a registered republican, but I certainly found that I agreed with you on a large number of topics.  I commend you for running a non-attacking campaign.  It has been difficult to follow as much of the Florida political scene as I would have liked, however, I really enjoyed your debate performance.  I am extremely concerned in what the future holds for Florida as well as the entire nation, as I intend to retire from the military and remain in Florida.  I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming election.  You have my vote!!
